Veterans’ Week Plans?

Are you involved in planning Veterans’ Week events next month? I’m not planning this year, but last year at Red Rocks Community College, we organized some great activities, including movie screenings with Q&A sessions, a memory candle-making craft, a photography event and auction, special snacks in the veteran lounge, and a ceremony. How about ya’ll?

I love the candle-making craft idea! This year we’re putting on a movie screening of Guardians of the Galaxy, we’re also doing a Gratitude Lunch right before Thanksgiving and displaying an art gallery that our students were invited to participate in!
